Carol completed degrees at Indiana University (BA in Fine Arts) and at the University of Texas--Dallas (MA in Humanities). She has studied ceramics, sculpture, photography and other media in various courses and workshops with studio artists.
She instructed classes in art media, especially ceramics and photography, at the secondary and college levels. She has worked in management positions at arts and educational institutions and other nonprofits. She is now retired and a full-time artist.
She has participated regional and national exhibitions in Philadelphia, New York, Texas, and California. You may have seen her work at Open Studios Art Tour of Santa Cruz County, Cabrillo College Gallery, Sculpture IS at Sierra Azul, Pajaro Valley Art Center, Mountain Arts Center, and First Friday and other events at the Tannery Arts Center.
She opened Studio 120 & Gallery at the Tannery Arts Center in 2012. You may see her ceramic vessels and sculpture by appointment.
