Carol earned degrees at Indiana University (BA in Fine Arts) and at the University of Texas--Dallas (MA in Humanities). She has studied ceramics, sculpture, photography, drawing and other media in various courses and workshops with studio artists.
During her career as a teacher, Carol taught various art classes at the secondary and college levels, including ceramics, photography, and art history. She is now retired and a full-time artist.
She has participated regional and national exhibitions in Philadelphia, New York, Texas, and California. You may have seen her work at Open Studios Art Tour of Santa Cruz County, Cabrillo College Gallery, Pajaro Valley Art Center, and events at the Tannery Arts Center.
She opened Studio 120 & Gallery at the Tannery Arts Center in 2012. The studio is open monthly for First Friday Art Tours, and you may contact the artist to schedule a studio visit at other times.
